Two birds sitting on a mountain, reading a sacred text

The birds are depicted in the form of gods with wings, the left figure has a blue face (figure of Krishna) and blue wings, the right figure has a green face and green wings; the mountain consists of four peaks of equal height on which stand four miniature trees, in a valley above the heads of the bird-deities is a round pond with four ducklings; in the meadow at the foot of the mountain are several species of birds; the sacred book lies between the two deities on a bench with a red cushion. The scene is framed by roughly drawn yellow and red borders decorated with white and black framing lines; at the top in the red border is the number 68 in black, the top left corner and left edge are frayed and partly torn.
