Shiva kills Yama with his trident

Shiva stands on a hill; he holds both arms outstretched, the right arm rests on the head of Markandeya who sits behind him with a small linga in his hands. In the left hand Shiva holds a trident with which he pierces the body of a blue demon (Yama) on a bull in front of him; in the background an arched night sky. A narrow border in orange around the scene, rounded at the top in both corners.
