Dara Shikoh is depicted up to his hips, turned to the left, with his right hand he holds his sword on his shoulder and in his left hand he has a fly brush. Page 8 in the ‘Witsen-Album’, with 49 Indian miniatures of monarchs. Above the portrait a piece of paper with the name in Persian. Below the portrait a piece of paper with the name in Portuguese.
