Nanda and Yashoda Met Krishna and Balarama

The royal couple sits in a rather geometric composition with many decorative textiles facing each other on colored carpets, each parent has a child on their lap and between the two rugs are two children with their arms outstretched to Krishna on mother’s lap; on the white carpet printed with gold motifs in the foreground four children are playing, two cows look up at Krishna and a cow serves as a toy for the child at the bottom right. Around the scene a number of decorative borders in solid gray with gold framing lines, royal blue with white framing lines and a wider orange-red border with gold and white framing lines; some damage on the depiction and the edges with heavy damage.
