Krishna with Bakasura

Against a brown background is a representation of Krishna in a landscape of trees and flowering shrubs with a village on the right; Krishna has opened the mouth of the crane demon Bakasura, some eaten figures can be seen in the bird’s esophagus, a second crane in the foreground in front of a pond is just swallowing a figure with a yellow loincloth, while on the right a second the bird wants to attack with a raised stick, in front of another crane with in its beak the legs of an engulfed figure, Krishna is accompanied by four servants and four differently colored goats look on peacefully; in front of a bush an apparently rescued figure from the beak of the bird attacked by Krishna is recovering from his perilous adventure. Around the scene a few brightly colored narrow bands in yellow and red with black framing lines, filled in with white on the red.
