Krishna visits Radha

The depiction shows a palace with a porter’s lodge and a cross-section of two rooms; in the back room Krishna is welcomed by a maidservant and in the front room Radha sits with bowed head waiting on a throne. The scene is framed by a narrow dark blue border with a stylized leaf and tendril motif in gold and grey, around which a series of framing lines have been applied and around it a wide pink-red dotted border with a framing line in red; the entire sheet is glued to a piece of cardboard and is slightly damaged at the corners.
