Krishna Ferrying Radha Across the Yamuna River

This painting is based on popular dramas where Krishna disguises himself as a boatman to ferry a demure Radha, his favorite gopi. It depicts devotion and the intensity of separated lovers. It includes image of a woman, dressed in white with short hair, possibly a widow. Whereas Krishna is sporting a moustache and Prince Albert hairstyle.
