Krishna and two women in a garden

In a nocturnal garden, two talking ladies sit on a rug on a white terrace; in the center and left and right are trees between which two monkeys swing to and fro, and against the evening sky two peacocks stand above the tree in the middle; to the left of the middle tree Krishna approaches with a red staff in his hands. At the bottom and top the scene is broad decorative bands, at the bottom a band with white zigzag and hatched lines on black against a green background, at the top a narrower green band with a single border shaded in black and a zigzag border that continues a bit across the night sky; at the very top and bottom a wide yellow strip trimmed with black and red framing lines; the rest of the leaf margin is once red, but has faded considerably. On the back of the sheet is a 5-line poem in calligraphy at the top.
