A Lion Fighting a Crocodile

The motif of two of nature’s most powerful creatures in deadly combat was borrowed from earlier works. Variations on the theme frequently appear in Bundi and Kotah school works, rendered with varying degrees of fluid brushwork and finely observed naturalism.
